ARCHIE McKibben’s hat-trick led the way as Loughborough Students ran in ten tries to brush aside Newport.
Doubles from Nick Jennings and Jenson Mcinulty as well as further efforts from Tommy Taylor, Chris Temperley and Yande Nkonge rounded off an emphatic win.
Jennings opened the scoring with the first of three tries in ten minutes. The hosts hit back four minutes later through Charlie Gamble before the students carved open the home defence to score through Mcinulty.
