CHESTER emerged as deserved winners over hosts Hinckley in a thrilling game played in heavy conditions at Leicester Road.
Hinckley weren’t at the races in the first half and the visitors stormed into a well-deserved lead when George Baxter and Scott Robson scored shortrange tries.
Their tally was enhanced by a conversion and a penalty from James Preston.
Chester could have been even further ahead, but an opportunistic try from Sam Read got Hinckley on the board.
