For 32 years, a sleeping giant lay dormant at the heart of Cornish rugby but on December 16, it roared back to life with over 3,000 people there to witness it.
Redruth snatched a draw at the death from arch-rivals Camborne in the renewed Cornish derby with a performance that Redruth director of rugby Nigel Hambly hopes will jolt his side to life.
Though the focus of the club remains firmly on the games ahead of them, the scintillating atmosphere of their last match will live long in the memory.
