When Hornets achieved promotion to National Two West for the 2022-23 season, the whole team had to adapt to the standard of a higher league.
But newcomer Jamie Elswood had the particularly difficult task of adapting to a league not one but four tiers higher, having joined from then Tribute Somerset Premier side Nailsea & Blackwell.
Yet Elswood is now flourishing at fly-half for Hornets and has scored the second most points in the division with 89, despite his team only sitting 11th.
