LOUGHBOROUGH Students overcame a slow start to get the better of fellow strugglers Newport (Salop).
The game started with ill-discipline from the Students, allowing the visitors to take the lead thanks to two penalties from the boot of Connor Adams.
Loughborough came back into the game with some expansive rugby. After wasting several opportunities, they eventually crossed the line through Tom Quinlan, who converted his own try to give them the lead.
