Late Gamble try seals tense tussle

NEWPORT just had enough in the end for Bournville.
The hosts took the lead with two early Adams penalties, which proved the only points in the opening half.
From the restart Port cleared and a high kicked was missed by Bournville and bounced into the hands of Henry Vaka to run untouched under the posts for a converted try.
Newport seemed to have the bit between their teeth, and a great catch and drive saw new man Conor Dever go over in the corner, with Adams converting.
