Lucs buck a trend with the strongest of possible starts

DUE to the bulk of Luctonians’ players working in trades or agricultural work, the Herefordshire side tend to be slow starters – but this season they have hit the ground running with back-to-back wins coming into this weekend.
Head coach Ryan Watkins, who has been at the club for nine years, is delighted with his side taking maximum points from their opening two games as a 31-21 away win over Dudley Kingswinford was followed by a comprehensive 47-15 victory over Old Redcliffians, and then Saturday’s big 45-18 win at Redruth.
