HORNETS ran in seven unanswered tries, and nine in all, on a miserable, ill-disciplined afternoon for Newport (Salop), who finished with 13 men.
The hosts had taken the lead through a score from Hayden Tuittett after seven minutes, converted by Jamie Elswood, but soon found themselves trailing.
Ethan Harley and Josh Kent both crossed for the visitors, with George Castledine adding one conversion.
