Clifton put in a barnstorming performance in a game which saw 102 points scored in a 15-try spectacular.

Hinckley were the first team on the board with a penalty from Joe Wilson, but soon after, the visitors took the lead with a score from Macnezzie Duncan, which was soon after followed with a try from Joe Owen.

Hinckley came back into the game with a try from Callum Dacey after a long period of pressure. But the visitors then blew Hinckley away, with the excellent Blake Boyland scoring a hat-trick before the halftime break.

Clifton continued where they left off after the break with Alex Kilbane scoring within five minutes, but Hinckley showed some real fight with two quick tries, one from Isaac Norton and another from returning captain Alex Salt.

Clifton, however, didn’t drop their intensity, with an excellent score from their captain Will Owen, who showed fantastic power to break through tackles, and Alex Howman, who showed great skill to finish on the touchline.

And although Shae Nixon earned a try bonus point for the home side, the result was never in any doubt with a fourth try from Boyland followed by two scores from Zac Ward.
