Newport's recent rich vein of form continued with a bonus-point win over the visiting Hornets.
Early on, it had looked like the home side were going to absolutely take apart the opposition, after they scored four tries in the opening 22 minutes and led 24-0 at the break.
But the Hornets are made of stern stuff and rallied to finish the game with some respectability restored, but alas no bonus points to take home to Somerset.
