Luctonians enjoyed a fine home win against a game Newport, despite being down to 13.
Lucs put the first points on the board after seven minutes when Louis Silver knocked over a penalty. Newport had plenty of possession, but struggled to gain any territory and when Josh Nott intercepted on halfway to run in under the posts, Silver converted to give the hosts a 10-0 lead.
