FYLDE held on to victory at the Woodlands despite a shaky and scrappy second-half.
The home side came out of the blocks flying with two copyand-paste line-break scores. The first was from Freddie Reader, and this was followed swiftly by a second, this time by Adam Lanigan. One conversion left the game at 12-0.
Fylde were in again when stand-off Will Hunt finished off another excellent move, after his own clever chip-pass had deceived the defenders.
