HULL came away with nothing from a game they started well, scoring three first-half tries, but their failure to score a point in the second half meant Chester ran out comfortable victors.
Hull’s Harry Dawkins opened the scoring after strong forward play but the hosts gave away a penalty from the restart which Morgan Bagshaw landed.
The home side were playing with confidence and an astute chip through by Harrison Astley saw him collect and touch down.
