Wood spoils Lymm plans for a title tilt

LYMM suffered a big blow to their National League Two North title hopes after defeat against Tynedale at Crouchley Lane.
The hosts started in flying fashion, opening the scoring within three minutes as hooker Rob Makin bundled over from a rolling maul.
But Tynedale quickly struck back to level. Fellow hooker Harrison Wood scoring.
Rhys Lilly responded for Lymm after several fast phases broke through the visitor’s defence, before Wood got his second for Tynedale from a powerful maul.
