Ionians roar back to make Bills pay

HULL Ionians gained a much-needed win by overcoming a 21-point deficit to run out comfortable winners over a determined Billingham side.
Both sides came into the match with five victories and it was only a healthy bonus points haul that put the hosts five places clear of their visitors from the northeast.
Billingham started well and their burly forwards pummeled their way over for the opening try by Adam Brown, before Evans and Joe Scarborough crossed. All three were converted by Evans to open up a 21-0lead.
