HOPPERS’ debut hero Sam Freeman snatched a dramatic late win in a nine-try thriller at Dore Moor.
With the sides locked at 27-27, the former Whitehaven rugby league man crossed with the last play to leave the hosts with just two bonus points.
In a helter-skelter opening, two tries in the first five minutes saw the sides even at 5-5. James Norman opening the score for the home side before a swift repost by wingman Tyler Spence levelled things.
