HULL overcame a heavy first-half penalty deficit and allowing Leeds a 21-0lead after just 15 minutes to recover well to gain a bonus point in a 33-24 defeat.
Leeds made the most of Hull errors and penalties to gain territory, and made it count with three catch-and-drive tries from line-outs through Josh Hough, Adam Brown and Tom Williams. Scrum-half Kit Keith converted all three.
But Hull bounced back: Harvey Harding took a quick-tap penalty and scampered over.
