LYMM held offa strong Harrogate challenge to win an exciting contest which saw 11 tries.
The visitors were fast out of the blocks, scoring in the first minute with a try by Matthew Hand, converted by Thomas Shard.
But Harrogate responded strongly and their forwards produced a fine try for Jack Gilmartin, converted by Rory Macnab.
