LYMM kept up their push for promotion, but were made to work for their victory by a spirited Tigers side that will be disappointed not to claim a major scalp.
The hosts started brightly as backrower Joshua Hadland burst over from close for the opening score. The ever-impressive Matthew Shard soon knocked over a drop-goal to add to Lymm’s lead.
Sheffield Tigers quickly struck back through a wonderful solo effort from outside center James Broadley.
