DESPITE losing their captain and pack leader Dom Parsons in the warm-up, Sheffield’s set-piece dominance finally prevailed in difficult weather conditions at Abbeydale.
For two sides both known for their attack, it was the defences that were continuously put to the test as the rain and wind wreaked havoc with any attempts to string phases of play together.
