Sheffield head coach Anthony Posa has awarded his team “the most improved in all the National Leagues” following a record-breaking season for the Yorkshire minnows.
For a long time in the shadows of their fierce rivals Sheffield Tigers, Posa’s side secured an unprecedented third-place finish in National 2 North with two games to spare, having never survived the drop in the Nationals prior to last season.
Their historic run, from promotion from Midlands Premier to survival, to third place has been overseen by Posa, who was hired in December 2021.
