Records tumble as Ionians stay up

HULL Ionians smashed the record books as they put a difficult season behind them to stay in National 2 North.
They scored 14 tries, with Lewis Minikin scoring five as well as 12 conversions to amass 49 points, certainly a club record and possibly National League record?
Sam Pocklington also ran in four tries, with further scores from Alfie Celella, George Mewburn, Josh Britton and Sam Wilson. 94 points is a new 1st XV record, the Ladies team celebrated their promotion while setting the club record of 104 points.
