Tynedale have started the season with one win and five losses, however in Jacob Oliver they have something to smile about.
The 18-year-old hooker came into this weekend sitting joint top of the National 2 North try-scoring table, having scored nine tries in a mere six games.
He attributed much of his scoring form to the club itself, especially the way they play, and a bit of good luck on his part.
