Oscar Canny’s firsthalf double helped Wharfedale secure victory over Huddersfield by the tightest of margins.
This was a game of two halves with Wharfedale scoring three excellent tries in the first 32 minutes before facing a comeback.
Tom Davidson opened the scoring with a penalty before Canny scored an individual try after following up his own kick ahead.
Two brilliant long passes resulted in Canny crossing again wide out and both tries were converted by Davidson.
