Harrogate won the battle of the basement clubs to kick-start their drive to remain in the division, with Will Yates grabbing a hat-trick.
From the off, Blaydon made a couple of breaks but unfortunately turned the ball over, resulting in Ben Raubitschek scoring Harrogate’s first try in the second minute. Rory Macnab converted.
