The fortress that is Dore Moor claimed yet another victim as the Tigers notched a fifth home win on the bounce.
But they were pushed all the way by the Grasshoppers, who started much the brighter – Ben Dorrington and Harry Swarbrick both scoring in the opening quarter, the sole Tigers response a penalty from top scorer Mark Ireland.
