Sheffield thwarted by gritty Chester

Chester managed to overcome Sheffield in an attritional battle from start to finish.
Two tries from visiting lock Michael Bryne, who had only scored once all season before this, was enough to secure the much-needed victory to help the visitors move up to fifth.
Chester have also now won their last four matches against Sheffield, dating back to 2017.
The day began with a concerted effort from Sheffield members to get the game on, with the pitch at Abbeydale Park passing a late inspection.
