THIS was a tight game, Sedgley squeezing past Chester with a last-gasp penalty.
In the first half, Sedgley looked certain to run away with it. They dominated possession, producing a stream of good ruck ball, but their near constant pressure yielded a paltry ten points.
Strong Chester defensive pressure forced a stream of Sedgley handling errors. In contrast, Chester struggled to get out of their half, but scored a try on each of their two visits to the visitors’ 22.
