SHEFFIELD never recovered from being held up on the A1 to delay the kick-off as they fell to defeat at Tynedale.
But it wasn’t until the second quarter that the hosts took control.
They opened the scoring when a strong run by Rob Parker from halfway set up Adam Todhunter to touch down, before Jake Rogers scored and converted from a line-out to make it 12-0 at half-time.
Tynedale restarted and soon extended their lead through a Louis Frankland try, converted by Rodgers.
