WHARFEDALE emerged worthy winners in a pulsating contest.
But full credit to the visitors from Huddersfield, who kept going to the end and scored two late tries to earn themselves two bonus points.
Wharfedale dominated the scrum and had copious amounts of possession but were also guilty of not being clinical when in scoring positions.
Dale opened the scoring with a Tom Davidson penalty.
Sam Nunn crossed the whitewash for Huddersfield, with Will Milner’s conversion taking them 7-3 ahead.
