SHEFFIELD Tigers survived a late Loughborough revival to claim their 10th win of the season.
Playing against a ferocious first-half gale, the Students kept the deficit down to 15 points after early tries from Greg Mellor and Jamie Broadley for the hosts.
Broadley snatched his second try after the restart which proved just too much for the spirited visitors who created a hatful of chances in the final quarter.
Playing the conditions, the hosts started strongly, with quick ball providing space for Mellor to score.
