HUDDERSFIELD used their forwards strength and scrum dominance to secure their victory.
Penalties were shared early on, with Will Milner and Owen Randell kicking for their respective sides, before Lewis Workman stole through the Lucs backs to give the visitors the lead.
Workman was then sin-binned for a noarms tackle.
And just before halftime Liam Parfitt was yellow-carded for Field for foul play.
