CHESTER won this match less comfortably than the scoreline suggests. They dominated the first hour, but fell away in late on and allowed Blaydon a brave comeback.
For their part, Blaydon came to play a wide, running game, but their pack lacked the power to give them a consistent supply of decent ball.
