SHEFFIELD captain Mark Ireland hailed his team for fronting up in an excellent victory.
The hosts played the wet and windy conditions well in a victory secured by tries from props Nicholas Bingham and Will Bennett and full-back Greg Mellor, plus the boot of Ireland himself, who kicked three conversions and two penalties.
