NEW head coach Adam Byron got off to a winning start as Rotherham put Tynedale to the sword.
After three weeks without a game that had seen the resignation of Steve Salvin and disruption caused by Covid, the fixture was a tricky one for the Titans but they showed no signs of rustiness, with Harry Dunne to the fore.
Rikki Stout went over for the first try and a good backs move was finished off by Mat Clark with Lloyd Hayes converting both scores.
After Tynedale were held up over the line, normal service was resumed...
