LUCTONIANS were unable to celebrate their first home game since February 2020 in style as they were beaten by Loughborough Students.
The visitors started strongly and soon took the lead when James Langstone stole through following a Lucs error and Smith converted.
When Thomas Miles added the Students’ second try following good work from Agbongbon, it appeared the afternoon was going to be a difficult one for the home side.
But they rallied and were rewarded when Aiden Cheshire was driven over from a driving maul.
