A TRY by scrum-half Danny Openshaw earned Sedgley Park a share of the spoils in a pulsating tussle with Rotherham.
Rotherham’s powerful pack applied pressure and they were rewarded with a penalty in front of the sticks, converted by fly-half Jonny West.
The home team played some blistering running rugby, which Rotherham were floundering to stop. Following a beautiful break by scrum-half Openshaw, second-row Bob Birtwell crashed over for the Tigers after seven minutes. Steve Collins converted.
