BOTTOM side Scunthorpe were no match for top-half side Chester in this one, despite surprisingly opening the scoring early on through Josh Lugsden.
Chester mis-threw the lineout and Scunthorpe capitalised by moving the ball wide, with good support seeing Lugsden dive over in the corner.
Three minutes later an overlap saw Chester lock Tom Gregory stroll over for a converted try, followed by full-back Mark Dixon to lead 14-5.
