LUCTONIANS edged past high-flying Sedgley Park with an impressive performance at Mortimer Park.
It was a dominant display from the hosts from the outset, as Sedgley kicked off and did not touch the ball again until they restarted after five minutes.
Luctonians showed great character to play into the wind and drove Sedgley back relentlessly, allowing their forwards to set up Drew Cheshire who crossed with ease.
But Matthew Gallagher then capitalised on a loose Lucs kick, allowing the away side to get back into the contest.
