TYNEDALE produced a brilliant nine-try showing to comfortably overcome Scunthorpe. After an initial Scunthorpe foray into the visitor’s half, the Tynedale forwards camped in the home fivemetre area and eventually Chris Wearmouth bored his way over for the opening score. From kick-off, Scunny were under pressure and Ben Haigh burrowed his way for the second try, converted by Jake Rodgers.
Missed tackles then allowed Guy Pike to make some easy yards and the supporting Joe Mills scored a converted try before there was some relief for Scunthorpe as good attacking moves almo...
