ALEXANDER Hurst scored a hat-trick as Grasshoppers romped to victory in a high-scoring affair.
The teams combined for 11 tries, with Hoppers scoring seven of them as they racked up the bonus point in the first half.
Dan Glasse had given South the lead with an early penalty, but Nathan Pope responded for Hoppers with the first try, converted by Tom Davidson.
After a second Glasse penalty, Hurst scored two tries in three minutes as the visitors opened up a 21-6 lead.
