PRESTONGrasshoppers’ upturn in form continued in a game of fluctuating fortunes at Sheffield’s Dore Moor.
Despite a second-half Tigers’ resurgence the Lancashire club held out to claim their third win in four.
However, it was Tigers who laid down an early marker. A superb break from wing Robbie Davidson from deep saw him stop just short, good support play enabling lock Al Simcox to force his way over.
