FYLDE moved to the top with a hard-fought win against George Chuter’s Hinckley.
It proved to be far from straightforward for the Lytham outfit that produced a near-perfect defensive masterclass, which helped restrict Hinckley who came into the game with the fourth most points in the league to just one try.
