LEICESTER Lions emerged with the spoils and local bragging rights after a superb comeback victory over rivals South Leicester.
Indeed, it looked like the visitors were in store for a long afternoon after Joe Lane and Javiah Pohe both bagged converted scores within the first seven minutes, with fly-half Ben Palmer doing the honours from the tee on both occasions.
Lock Martin Wolfenden then crashed over for the home side midway through the first half as South racked up 21 points, Harry Key’s penalty the only response.
