STOURBRIDGE continued their slide down the table with an eighth defeat of the season.
Preston took an early lead through a try from centre Sam Stott which fly half Tom Davidson converted.
Stour soon responded when hooker Jack Lea bulldozed his way over from close range for flyhalf Rickie Aley to add the extras.
Preston powered back when No.8 Matt Lamprey broke clear to score by the posts but Stour levelled matters again when loose head prop Mark George went over, both tries being converted.
