A SEVEN-TRY thriller in Leicestershire saw Hinckley complete a stirring fightback with a try 12 minutes from time.

After going 0-19 up in the first ten minutes, the Lions will be wondering how they have come out of the game with just the one point.

The Lions scored after just five minutes through Alex Smit, with a quick tap and go, Harry Key converting to give the visitors a 0-7 lead.

Three minutes later, the Lions crossed the whitewash again through second row Edward Sumpter, with Key successful with the conversion once again.

And after 11 minutes, the visitors crossed for their third try through winger Constant.

However, just before the 20 minutes mark, Hinckley half Joseph Glover crossed for the hosts for a converted try.

The impressive Glover then crossed for his second try of the game just before half time to close the gap to 19-12. After 47 minutes, the home side then crossed for a penalty try.

And outside centre Scott Hamilton scored the match-winning try for the home from yet another five-metre scrum.

Wilson was yet again successful with the conversion meaning that Hinckley finished with all five points.
