CHESTER lost their first game in five matches as they were downed at home to Fylde.
The visitors made it their third win on the bounce thanks to a try from outside centre Ralph Dowds and 11 points from the boot of fly-half Greg Smith.
George Baxter got the only score for the home side, as they were shut out in the second half, while there were four yellow cards in a match littered with penalties.
Dowds opened the scoring for Fylde after he intercepted a wayward pass, with Smith adding the two extra points.
