HULL Ionians continued their excellent start to the season as a bonus-point victory over South Leicester sent them top of the National 2 North table.
Ben Bell (2), James Newman and Lewis Minikin all crossed to secure a sixth win in seven matches and move one point clear of Hinckley, who were beaten by Chester.
Ben Palmer and Mitchelle Stephenson added tries in either half for South Leicester but ultimately they were well beaten and have now won just one of their last five games.
