LEICESTER Lions scored two late tries to prevent Otley getting anything, in a game dominated by the rolling maul.
Playing against a blustery wind in the first half, the Lions showed their intent with Devon Constant being put into touch twice just before the line.
After ten minutes Curtis Williams was bundled over after Otley lost their lineout in the corner. Stephen Nolson’s kick through generated a scrum followed by a penalty, Ben Smith reducing the deficit.
The Lions stretched their lead following a penalty into the corner, as Ben Spokes was driven over.
