CHESTER maintained their winning start with a bonus point victory on the road at Dore Moor.
In a fiercely contested game, which drew a flurry of yellow cards from referee Ben Rayner, a red for Tigers’ No.8 Frank Wragg midway through the second half was decisive.
The Tigers, who were then ahead 15-10, succumbed to two quick tries from replacement prop Alick Croft and wingman Harrison Vare. They rallied in the closing stages and two further Chester sin bins in stoppage time left the visitors clinging on.
